במענה על מכתביו:
א) ע"ד "בית רבקה", אמנם ידוע עד כמה שטרודים אתם באלה הענינים הצבוריים שהנכם עוסקים בהם, ואשר עומדים ברומו של עולם ואי אפשר להרפות מהם חלילה אף במקצת.
אבל בשים לב, כי יסוד בתי ספר לנערות על טהרת הקדש הוא בזמן הזה ובמקומות אלה שאלה של הצלת נפשות בנות ישראל, וגם כי החנוך של הבנות משפיע במדה מרובה גם על החנוך של אחיהם, על הרוח של משפחתם, ועל טהרת האויר ברחוב היהודי בכלל, בשים לב לכל הנ"ל איני יודע אם הענין סובל דיחוי.
ומי מכם יודע כי אתם היחידים במדינתכם מהידועים לנו שאפשר לפנות אליהם בהצעה כזאת
וכל זמן שלא עלה עדיין בידכם ליסד ב"ס לנערות, ראוי עכ"פ להשתדל בסידור מסבות שבת לנערות, שזה יותר קל. והנסיון הראה, כי מסבות האלו משפיעות אח"כ על חברותיהן ללכת ל"בית רבקה", ובכלל בשנוי הנהגתן לטובה.
ב) בענין הבחור מואנקווער, איני יודע טעמם בשלילת הענין (ואף שאינני על אתר, בכ"ז אין דעתי מסכמת עמהם כלל וכלל בזה, אבל מעולם הנני משתמט מהנהגה של "קבלו דעתי" ואף בנדו"ז כן הוא) אבל, בכל אופן, צריכים אתם לענות להרב שכתב אודות הנ"ל מכתב מנומס בצרוף טעם, המתקבל גם אצל אחרים, מפני מה דחו בקשתו, ויהי כבוד חברך חביב כו'.
ג) בקשתו בעניני הדפוס נתמלאה, וכן המעות שנתקבלו (נו"ן שקל) נתחלקו כהוראתו.
ד) בכתיבת הס"ת עומדים כבר בע"ה בפ' האזינו, ולכן כל הרוצה להשתתף באותיות צריך למהר בזה. ולדוגמא: אפי' מחבריו התמימים ישנם שלא נרשמו עדיין!!

In response to your letters: A) Regarding "Beis Rivka," it is well known how busy you are with these communal matters in which you are involved—matters that are of utmost importance and cannot be neglected even slightly. However, considering that establishing schools for girls based on holiness is nowadays and in these places a matter of saving the souls of Jewish daughters—and also that the education of girls greatly influences their brothers' education, their family's spirit, and the purity of the atmosphere in the Jewish street in general—in light of all this, I do not know if this matter can tolerate delay. Who among you knows that you are the only ones in your country known to us who can be approached with such a proposal? And as long as you have not yet succeeded in founding a school for girls, it is at least worthwhile to try arranging Shabbat gatherings for girls, which is easier. Experience has shown that these gatherings later influence their friends to attend "Beis Rivka," and generally lead to positive changes in their conduct.
B) Regarding the bochur from Vankver: I do not know your reasoning for rejecting this matter (and even though I am not there personally, nevertheless my opinion does not agree with yours at all in this case; but I always avoid an approach of "accept my opinion," and so it is here as well). However, in any case, you should respond to the rabbi who wrote about him with a polite letter including a reason that will be acceptable to others as well as to him for why his request was declined. "Let your friend's honor be dear..."
C) His request regarding printing matters has been fulfilled, and likewise the money received (fifty shekels) was distributed according to his instructions.
D) In writing the Sefer Torah we have already reached Parshas Haazinu with G‑d's help; therefore anyone who wishes to participate in letters should hurry. For example: even among his fellow temimim there are some who have not yet registered!!
Summary
The Rebbe stresses the critical importance of girls' education and communal involvement. He encourages prompt action in founding holy institutions and maintaining respectful communication when declining requests. Participation in Torah projects is urged without delay.
