איך בין געווען צופרידען צו באקומען אייער בריף פון מוצש"ק מ[ט]ו"מ אז איר זיי[ט] שוין אין דערהיים און האט אויך מיטגעבראכט אייער טאכטער, איר שרייבט אבער ניט די אורזאך וואס אויך אייער טאכטער איז מיטגעפארען, צי איז דאס וויילע זי האט שוין פארענדיקט דאס וואס זי האט געוואלט, אדער עס איז א אנדער אורזאך בא דעם, ווארום זיכער איז די סביבה אין לונדון וואו זי איז געווען ביז יעצט, א שטריינג רעליגיעזע און אפילו זי האט געביינקט נאך די עלטערן און די עלטערן נאך איר, דארפמען אבער אויסניצען די יונגע יארען וועלכע זיינען שייך צו חינוך צו געבען דעם מאקסימום חינוך וואס מען קען נאר געבען, אבער וויבאלד די זאך איז דאך שוין אפגעטאן, דארפמען האפען אז דאס וועט זיין צום גוטען, און איר און זי וועלן זיך ניט באנוגענען מיט דעם וואס זי וועט לערנען אליין בא מרת..., נאר וועט אויך זעהען צו שאפען א סביבה וואו זי זאל געפינען דעם זעלבען גייסט, ווי אין לונדון, פילייכט וואלט גלייך געווען, אז זי זאל זיין א משפיעה פאר א גרופע אידישע טעכטער, וואס דאס אליין וואלט מיטגעבראכט אז זי זאל זיך מער פארטיפען אין דעם.
איך בין געווען צופרידען צו לייענען אין אייער בריף אז דער געשעפט אין די אינזלען האט זיך פארגליכען, און איך האף אז דאס וועט זיך ארויסווייזען פאר א גוטען צנור פון פרנסה.
וועגען די געשעפטען אין אייער מדינה, געדיינקט איר זיכער וואס איך האב גערעט מיט אייך, אז איר דארפט אויסגעפינען צי האט איר וועמען איינג געמאכט דורך אייערע געשעפטען, און אויב יע, צו פאריכטען דאס, און האפענטליך האט איר דאס געטאן אדער איר טוט דאס יעצט, און איך האף אז איר וועט קענען אנזאגען מיר א גוטע בשורה, אז איר זעט השגחה פרטית אפילו בעיני בשר, איר דארפט ניט איבערטראכטען וועגען די פריערדיקע שותפים אז זיי קענען אייך, ניט גוטעס טאן, ווארום הקב"ה איז דער בורא עולם, האלט עם אויף און פירט עם אן, און ער ברוך הוא, איז דער אמת'ר בעל הבית אין אלע פרטים ופרטי פרטים, ויהי רצון מהשי"ת, אז ער זאל אייך געבען פרנסה בהרחבה, און זאלט טאן ווי דער אלטער רבי בעל השו"ע והתניא האט געזאגט, אז השם יתברך גיט אידן גשמיות און די אידן מאכן פון גשמיות רוחניות.

I was pleased to receive your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh M[T]u"M stating that you are already home and have also brought your daughter with you. However, you did not write the reason why your daughter also traveled—whether it is because she has already completed what she wanted or if there is another reason for this. Surely the environment in London where she was until now is a strict religious one, and even though she missed her parents and her parents missed her, one must utilize the young years that are suited for education to give the maximum education possible. But since the matter is already done, we must hope that it will be for good, and you and she will not be satisfied with her learning alone by Mrs.... Rather, you should also strive to create an environment where she will find the same spirit as in London. Perhaps it would be best if she could immediately become an influence for a group of Jewish girls—which itself would lead her to deepen herself further in this.
I was pleased to read in your letter that the business in the islands has stabilized, and I hope this will prove to be a good channel for livelihood.
Regarding the businesses in your country: surely you remember what I spoke with you about—that you must find out whether anyone was wronged through your business dealings, and if so, to rectify it. Hopefully you have done this or are doing so now. I hope you will be able to inform me of good news—that you see Divine Providence even with physical eyes. You need not worry about previous partners thinking they can harm you negatively; for Hakadosh Baruch Hu is the Creator of the world—He sustains it and leads it—and He, blessed be He, is truly the Master over all details and particulars.
May it be His will from Hashem Yisbarach that He grant you abundant livelihood. And may you act as the Alter Rebbe—the author of Shulchan Aruch and Tanya—said: that Hashem gives Jews materiality and Jews make from materiality spirituality.

P.S.: Surely it is unnecessary to ask again and thank you for the help you have given and continue to give to Anash in your country. I hope that like every living thing it grows—and especially something holy—you will fulfill our Sages' teaching: "Ma'alin bakodesh" (we ascend in holiness).
