בנועם קבלתי מכתבו (בלי הוראת זמן הכתיבה) אשר זוגתו תחי' הסכימה ללבוש שייטל, ויהי רצון מהשי"ת אשר תעשה זאת בלב שמח ובעגלא דידן תראה בעיני בשר תוספת ברכה והצלחה בענינה הן הכללים והן הפרטים בבריאות הנכונה ובפרנסה לו ולכל ב"ב שיחיו.
כן נהניתי לקרות במכתבו אשר קבע שיעור לימוד עם הרה"ח מו"ה ... שי' וכן רואה יותר נחת בשיעורים הפרטים שלו, ומזמן לזמן בטח יוסיף נחת בזה וכפסק תורתנו הק' שמעלין בקדש שזהו חיוב על האדם, ומדתו של הקב"ה מדה כנגד מדה הרי גם מלמעלה מעלין אותו מדרגא אל דרגא בקדש אשר בדרך ממילא מתמעטים הגבלות העולם הזה עד שאפילו ענינים הגשמים נעשים בלי צמצומים והגבלות כ"כ, ובמילא אפשר לעסוק בתורה ועבודה וגמילות חסדים מתוך הרחבת הנפש ומנוחת הגוף.
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש.

I was pleased to receive your letter (without indication of when it was written) stating that your wife has agreed to wear a sheitel. May it be the will of Hashem that she does so with a joyful heart, and may you soon see with your own eyes an increase in blessing and success in all matters—both general and specific—in proper health and livelihood for you and your entire family.
I was also pleased to read in your letter that you have established a study session with Haraha"ch Moreinu ... shiyichyeh, and that you are seeing more satisfaction in your personal studies. Surely, from time to time you will continue to increase this satisfaction, as our holy Torah rules: one must always ascend in holiness. This is an obligation upon a person, and since the measure of the Holy One is measure for measure, from Above he too is elevated from level to level in holiness. As a result, the limitations of this world are diminished until even material matters are experienced without such constraints or limitations. Thus, one can engage in Torah study, service of G‑d, and acts of kindness with an expansive spirit and physical tranquility.

P.S.: I will read the pidyon nefesh as you requested at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden.
