... יש לקוות לתועלת מהנ"ל בשנים (א) באפריקה הצפונית הנה יש לו השפעה על קהלות הספרדים אשר שם, ובטח ישנה להשפעה זו גם על הספרדים הנמצאים עתה באה"ק ת"ו, ב) בודאי עומד הנ"ל גם עתה בקשור עם אפריקה הצפונית, ובנו הוא המ"מ שם, ובמילא אפשר לקוות לתועלת בקשר עם התפתחות עבודת רשת אהל"יי אשר באפריקה הצפונית, ות"ח מראש על טרחתו בזה.

P.S.: I received your pleasant letters; many thanks for your detailed correspondence as usual. Surely by now you have also received my letters and the telegram sent to the Agudas Chassidei Chabad administration in your name. I await good news regarding this.
Enclosed is a copy of my letter written to Harav Hatzadik etc. Moreinu HaRav Yisrael Abuchatzeira shlita (Lod). If it would not be too much trouble, my request is that you join with one or two others and visit him at his home, telling him that this is being done at my request as an expression of honor.
It is hoped that this will be beneficial in two areas: (a) In North Africa he has influence over the Sephardic communities there, and surely this influence extends also to Sephardim currently in Eretz Yisrael; (b) He is certainly still connected with North Africa, where his son serves as his representative. Therefore, we can hope for benefit regarding the development of the Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak network in North Africa. Many thanks in advance for your efforts in this matter.
