I received your letters from the 14th and 27th of Kislev, and thank you very much for writing in detail about these matters...

I have spoken several times, both with you and with other members of the Aguch administration, about the utmost necessity for educational institutions to be under the wing of Aguch in addition to the existing yeshivas. I also told you when you were here that I am certain for several reasons that representatives of the religious parties in Eretz Yisrael will assist with this, and officially there is a non-affiliated stream under whose name all these institutions can be called. This is practically relevant because there has been an opportunity for some time to bring religious institutions under our authority—though they do not yet agree to study Chassidus and similar subjects—and among them are some Talmud Torahs and cheders established by activists from the camps...

It is to be hoped that in the near future there will finally be results from the work of the Coordinating Committee as well. If even by then it will not be possible to have educational institutions permanently under our authority in this non-affiliated stream, it will also cause a loss that I do not know if it will be possible to repair later.

Please publicize my above general letter among the Chabad institution administrations and inform me unofficially of your opinion regarding these matters.
