במענה על מכתבו מיום א' בא, המודיע כי מצאו דירה חדשה... ויחנכו הבית בתלמוד תורה, היינו שבתחילה ילמוד באחד החדרים שם עם איזה מתלמידיו, ובתורת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ עכ"פ לעצמו.
ולזוג' תי' ימסור שתמה אני על הידיעה שבעצבות היא מכהנ"ל. בתו של חסיד ואשתו של חסיד ובעצמה בעלת מוחין ורגש חסידותי, עצבות מנין לה? תהי' שמחה באמת על כל הטוב אשר הנחילה השי"ת עד עתה, ושמחה פורץ גדר למלאות גם את החסר עדיין לע"ע. ות"ח לו אם יוכל להודיעני אז זי פאלגט.

In response to your letter from Sunday, in which you inform me that you have found a new apartment... May you inaugurate the home with Torah study, meaning that at first you should learn in one of the rooms there with some of your students, and according to the teachings of my father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, at least for yourself.
And to your wife, I would like you to convey that I am surprised by the news that she is saddened by this matter. The daughter of a chassid and the wife of a chassid, and herself possessing both intellect and chassidic feeling—where does sadness come from? She should be truly happy about all the good that Hashem has granted her until now, and joy breaks through barriers to also fulfill what is still lacking for now.
