Enclosed is a booklet published for Chanukah whose release was delayed due to many distractions. Nevertheless, I am sure your honor will still find it very desirable even now.

In response to your letter, thank you for your efforts in publicizing my opinion and suggestion regarding the elections. Surely, at the appropriate opportunity, you also conveyed this to Haraha"g vavac"h iy"a nu"n etc. etc. Mahari'a HaLevi Herzog according to what I wrote to your honor in my previous letter.

Regarding what you write that from time to time there are some discussions in Shulchan Aruch of our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe and you wish to write to me about them: it is obvious that I would delight in reading your Torah insights in general, and especially those clarifying the opinion of our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe. Just please do not be upset with me if my response is delayed due to the many distractions that surround me and continue to increase over time.

With blessings for Chanukah that each one of us should merit "lehaddlik ner Chanukah al petach beito mi'bachutz" (to light the Chanukah lamp at the entrance of his house outside), and to continually increase.
