Through Haraha"ch Havavch iy"a who is involved in communal needs with faith etc., Moreinu HaRav Ben Tzion Shem Tov, I was happy to receive regards from him and from all his family, may they live, and he also gave me his pan (pidyon nefesh), which I read at the Ohel of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), when I was there this past Lag BaOmer.

You surely know that Lag BaOmer was called by Rashbi—whose yahrzeit it is—his day of joy, and it is also known that joy breaks all boundaries. Reading the pan on Rashbi's day of joy at the resting place of our Nasi—who is the one who reveals the secrets of Torah in our generation—and through his Torah we are all connected to the Tree of Life, which is the inner dimension of Torah, and through it comes our connection and attachment to the living G‑d. This reading can break through concealments and bring down to each person what he needs in children, life, and abundant sustenance. I hope you will be able to share good news regarding those matters about which you wrote in your pan.

Enclosed is the sicha from Lag BaOmer that was recently printed; study it deeply, for in it you can quench your soul's thirst regarding many matters that require resolution.

I hope to hear good news from you both concerning yourself and your family, may they live. I will conclude with a blessing for a joyful Shavuot and for receiving the Torah with joy and inwardness.
