I received your letter together with the four pages from Sefer Chakel Yitzchak in a timely manner, and I have taken them and will respond—in this I am enclosing a booklet published for the upcoming Purim, which is from the teachings of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nbg"m zy"a, and without a doubt you will find most of its content relevant.

Many thanks for the few details you wrote regarding the passing of the father of Tanya. I would be very grateful if you could also inform me of any other details you know from a reliable source, as there is very little clear information available on this matter—even the year of his passing is not known.

At least as a general note to the pages from the sefer you sent, and relating to current events: see Shaar HaPurim by Admor HaEmtza'i, son of Baal HaTanya, in the discourse "Yavi'u Levush Ptz"b," where he explains according to his approach the dispute between Beit Shammai and Beit Hillel as well as Rashbi's opinion that "they were created together," which is not so easily understood based on what is written in those pages. He also brings that "et hashamayim ve'et haaretz" (the heavens and the earth) are an acronym for "the holy Name Ahavah" (Zohar I 251a), as well as an acronym for "et halevush ve'et hasus" (the garment and the horse); see there.
