המצווה הרכ"א
האזהרה שהזהרנו מלעבוד את האילן בשנה שביעית. והוא אמרו יתעלה: "וכרמך לא תזמר" (שם). וגם העובר על זה - חייב מלקות. ולשון ספרא:"הזרע והזמיר בכלל היו, ולמה יצאו? להקיש אליהם, מה זרע וזמיר מיוחדים שהם עבודה בארץ ובאילן, אף אני אין לי אלא דבר שהוא עבודה בארץ ובאילן".וכבר נתבארו גם דיני מצווה זו במסכת שביעית.
Commandment 221: The prohibition in which we were warned not to work the trees during the seventh year. As He, may He be exalted, said: "And your vineyard you shall not prune." One who transgresses this is liable for lashes. The language of the Sifra: "Sowing and pruning were included together; why were they singled out? To compare to them: just as sowing and pruning are specific types of work in the land and with trees, so too, I have only that which is work in the land and with trees." The laws of this commandment have already been explained in Tractate Sheviis.
