המצווה המשלימה קנ"ה
אזהרה שהזהרנו מלאכול מעשר שני בטמאה, אפילו בירושלים, עד שיפדה. לפי שהכלל אצלנו שמעשר שני שנטמא פודין אותו אפילו בירושלים, כמו שנתבאר במכות. והאזהרה על זה הוא אמרו: "לא בערתי ממנו בטמא" (דברים כו, יד). ובא בקבלה:בין שאני טמא והוא טהור בין שאני טהור והוא טמא.ובגמרא מכות שנתבאר עוד,שהמעשר והביכורים אסור לבער מהם בטמאה, ואוכלם בטומאת עצמן לוקה, ובתנאי שיאכל מעשר זה בטומאה בירושלים בלי פדיון ואז ילקה, כמו שזכרנו.וכבר נתבארו דיני מצווה זו בסוף מכות.
The complementary commandment 150:
This is a prohibition warning us not to eat maaser sheini while it is impure, even in Yerushalayim, until it is redeemed. For the rule among us is that maaser sheini which became impure must be redeemed, even in Yerushalayim, as explained in Makkos. The warning for this is in the verse: "I have not consumed of it in impurity" (Devarim 26:14). And it has been received by tradition: whether I am impure and it is pure, or I am pure and it is impure. And in the Gemara Makkos it is further explained that maaser and bikkurim are forbidden to be consumed in impurity, and one who eats them in their state of impurity is liable for lashes, provided that he eats this maaser in impurity in Yerushalayim without redeeming it, then he is liable for lashes, as we have mentioned. The laws of this commandment have already been explained at the end of Makkos.
