המצווה הקל"ח
הציווי שנצטווינו שיחזרו כל הקניינים המכורים בשנה זו לבעליהם, ויצאו מתחת ידי הקונים, בלי דמים.
והוא אמרו יתעלה: "ובכל ארץ אחזתכם גאלה תתנו לארץ" (ויקרא כה, כד).
וביאר לנו, שגאלה זו תהיה בשנה זו ואמר: "בשנת היובל הזאת תשבו איש אל אחזתו" (ויקרא כה, יג).
וכבר פרט הכתוב דיני מצווה זו וביאר איך יהיה דין המוכר עם הקונה, אם הוא רוצה לפדות את אדמתו המכורה קדם שתחול שנת היובל.
וביאר גם כן שדין זה מיוחד לקרקעות שהן מחוץ לחומת העיר, ושהחצרות והבתים הבנויים בכפרים - כיון שלא נבנו מבפנים לחומה, הרי דינם כדין השדות והגנות.
והם בתי החצרים שעליהם אמר הכתוב: "על שדה הארץ יחשב גאלה תהיה לו וביובל יצא" (ויקרא כה, לא).
וכבר נתבארנו דיני מצווה זו בערכים.
וגם היא אינה נוהגת אלא בארץ ישראל ובזמן שהיובל נוהג.
The 138th Mitzvah
1. The commandment in which we were commanded that all properties sold during this year must return to their original owners, and leave the possession of the buyers, without payment.
2. This is as He, may He be exalted, said: "And throughout the land of your possession, you shall grant redemption for the land" (Vayikra 25:24).
3. And He explained to us that this redemption takes place in this year, as He said: "In this year of Yovel, each of you shall return to his property" (Vayikra 25:13).
4. The Torah has already detailed the laws of this mitzvah and explained how the law applies between the seller and the buyer, if the seller wishes to redeem his sold land before the Yovel year arrives.
5. It also explained that this law applies specifically to lands that are outside the city wall, and that courtyards and houses built in villages—since they were not built within the city wall—are treated like fields and gardens.
6. These are the courtyard houses about which the Torah said: "It shall be reckoned with the fields of the land; there shall be redemption for it, and in the Yovel it shall go out" (Vayikra 25:31).

8. And it applies only in Eretz Yisroel and only at a time when the Yovel is observed.
