Remembering Amalek applies to every person — including women. Since women are obligated in the negative commandment, “You shall not forget,” they are likewise obligated in the positive commandment, “You shall erase the memory of Amalek.”

The spiritual eradication of Amalek applies at all times. Amalek represents coldness, and every day one must erase the memory of Amalek through the enthusiasm and warmth of prayer.
