לְאֵ-ל עֹורֵך דִין - בְּתְּפִלַת מוּסַף.
בְּמִנְחָה אֵ"אֹ הֹודוּ, אַבָל אֹומְרִים פָּתַח אֵלִיָ'.
מַ"שֶׁ בְּסִידוּר שַׁעַר הַקְ"שְׁ דִ"הַ לְהָבִין הַהֶפְרֵשׁ (עַ"דַ עָ"אַ) שֶׁקֹודֶם תְּקִיעַת שֹׁופָר אֹומְרִים אָנָא בְכֹחַ, פִּירוּשֹׁו: בְּדֶרֶך כְּלַל הֵם הַכַּוָונֹות מֵהַפְּסוּקִים שֶׁרָ"תֵּ שֶׁלָהֶם שֵׁם שֵׁנִי מִשֵׁם מַ"בּ , אָמְנָם יֵשׁ שֶׁמְכַּוְנִים הַתֵּיבֹות אָנָא בְכֹחַ כוּ' בְּמַחֲשָׁבָה, אַבָל אֵין אֹומְרִים הָאֹותִיֹות וְהַתֵּיבֹות.
וְהָעֹוסֶק בְּכַּוָונֹות צָרִיך לִלְמֹוד הָעִנְיָנִים בָּרוּר בְּכִּתְהָאַרִיזַ"ל, וְאָז כַּוָונָתֹו רְצוּיָ'.

"L'Kel orech din" is said in the Mussaf prayer.
At Minchah, "Hodu" is not said, but "Pasach Eliyahu" is said.
Regarding what is written in the Siddur, in Shaar Krias Shema, in the piece beginning "L'havin hahefresh" (74a), that before the sounding of the shofar one says "Ana b'choach" — its meaning is this: in a general way these are the kavanos of the verses whose initial letters form the second Name of the forty-two-letter Name. There are, however, those who direct their thought to the words "Ana b'choach" and the rest, but do not pronounce the letters and the words.
And one who occupies himself with kavanos must study these matters clearly in the writings of the Arizal, and then his kavanah is acceptable.
