Chabad Agudas Chabad Tel Aviv - Executive Committee refers to the leadership body overseeing the activities of Agudas Chabad in Tel Aviv. This committee was responsible for organizing and guiding Chabad's communal and outreach efforts in the city, particularly in the realm of spreading Chassidic teachings and values.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, corresponded with the Executive Committee of Agudas Chabad Tel Aviv regarding strategies for spreading the teachings of Chabad Chassidus. In a letter dated 22 MarCheshvan 5712 (1951), the Rebbe emphasized the importance and opportunity presented by the month of Kislev for expanding the reach of Chabad Chassidus to broader circles. He suggested a dual approach: organizing a large farbrengen (Chassidic gathering) for the entire community, followed by additional, smaller farbrengens in various locations and among diverse groups. The Rebbe expressed trust in the committee's judgment to implement these plans in the most effective manner.
The Rebbe also highlighted the necessity of coordination between the Executive Committee and Tzeirei Aguch (the youth division), encouraging both groups to align their efforts so that each complements the other, thereby enhancing the overall impact of their holy work. The tone of the correspondence is one of encouragement, guidance, and partnership, with the Rebbe offering his blessings for success and enclosing a newly published kuntres (Chassidic booklet) for their use.
