Oholei Yaakov Yosef is an educational institution in the Holy Land (Eretz HaKodesh), named in honor of the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn. The institution is dedicated to the study of Torah and the cultivation of proper conduct among its students.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, addressed a letter to Oholei Yaakov Yosef on the occasion of the yahrzeit of his revered father-in-law, the previous Rebbe. In his letter, the Rebbe acknowledges receipt of the students' requests (panim) and assures them that he will mention them at the resting place of the previous Rebbe, praying for their success in Torah study with fear of Heaven.
The Rebbe emphasizes that the life of the previous Rebbe, after whom the institution is named, should serve as an example to the students, inspiring them to strive and exert themselves to follow in his ways. He encourages the students to be diligent and perseverant in their studies and to conduct themselves properly both within and outside the school. The Rebbe assures them that such dedication will bring the blessings of the L-rd for both material and spiritual success. He concludes by expressing his anticipation for good news regarding their achievements in learning and in honoring parents and teachers.
