תרמב דין לילה ראשונה שחלה בשבת ובו ב' סעיפים:
א אם חל יום ראשון של סוכות להיות בשבת, אומר הש"ץ בערבית, ברכה אחת מעין שבע. ומזכיר בה שבת ואינו מזכיר בה יו"ט. כמו שנתבאר בסי' רס"ח. ע"ש:
ב אין אומרים "מערבית" בליל ראשון שחל בשבת.
ובליל שני, אומרים "מערבית", של ליל ראשון:
The Law of the First Night of Sukkos When It Falls on Shabbos
1. If the first day of Sukkos falls on Shabbos, the shliach tzibbur recites in Ma'ariv one blessing of Me'ein Sheva. In this blessing, Shabbos is mentioned, but Yom Tov is not mentioned, as explained in siman 268. See there.
2. "Ma'aravis" is not recited on the first night when it falls on Shabbos.
And on the second night, "Ma'aravis" of the first night is recited.
