תרט הטמנת חמין בערב יום כיפור ובו סעיף אחד:
א יש אוסרים להטמין חמין מערב יום כיפור למוצאי יום הכיפורים. מפני שלא התירו להטמין חמין אלא לכבוד השבת.
אבל זה שהוא מטמין למוצאי יום הכיפורים, שהוא חול - לא התירו לו כלל. לפי שהתבשיל מתחמם ביום הכיפורים, ונמצא יום הכיפורים מכין לחול.
ויש מתירים להטמין בערב יום כיפור - מפני שהוא מכין מחול לחול.
ואע"פ ששוהה על הכירה ביום הכיפורים - אין זו חשובה הכנה, כיון שאינו עושה מעשה ביום הכיפורים.
והלכה כסברא האחרונה. מכל מקום נוהגין באלו המדינות להחמיר כסברא הראשונה:

And the halacha is like the latter opinion. Nevertheless, the custom in these countries is to be stringent like the first opinion.
