חכמינו ז"ל: אדם מקדש עצמו מעט למטה -
וידוע הפירוש בזה
, שכל כמה שיתקדש, כיון שהוא נברא ומוגבל, הרי זה תמיד "מעט" לפי ערך למעלה - מקדשין אותו הרבה מלמעלה.
ובפרט שזכו ונמצאים בארץ הקדש,

אשר תמיד עיני ה"א בה מרשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
It was received with pleasure to hear about the farbrengen you held on the bright day of Yud Kislev, Rosh Hashanah for Chassidus and its ways. Surely everyone accepted good resolutions in this matter with the intention to fulfill them throughout the year.
May it be G‑d's will that in each and every one is fulfilled our Sages' saying: "A person sanctifies himself a little below"—and it is known that no matter how much one sanctifies himself, since he is created and limited, it is always considered a little compared to Above—"they sanctify him greatly from Above." Especially since you have merited to be in the Holy Land, a land where "the eyes of Hashem your G‑d are always upon it from the beginning of the year to its end."
I also received with satisfaction the news that all stages have already been completed and that the Nachalat Har Chabad Association has been approved and established. Certainly we can apply here our Sages' saying: "An assembly for tzaddikim is beneficial for them and beneficial for the world." My strong hope is that everyone will register as a member of this association—with the obvious intention to observe its regulations—and generally to strengthen and solidify the association both quantitatively and qualitatively. The merit of the many assists them.
This is especially so according to what is explained in Chabad teachings in several places—particularly in the discourses "Heilatz'u Lachem" by our Rebbeim, starting with our Alter Rebbe's discourse in Likkutei Torah, as well as in the famous Kuntres Heilatz'u (5659), (see also in this Kuntres published by Kehot—a discourse, letter, and sicha on these matters from my revered father-in-law), especially since it is known that the discourse Heilatz'u is among those specifically designated for purifying the air of the world; once every two or three years our Rebbeim would repeat them publicly (Hayom Yom, 28 Tammuz 5703).
