With pleasure and appreciation I have just received your letter from the 5th of Tishrei, and I thank you for your blessings. As I have already stated in such matters according to our holy Torah regarding G‑d's blessing to Avraham Avinu: "VaAvarecha Mevarechecha" ("I will bless those who bless you"), that whoever blesses is blessed by G‑d, the Source of blessings, from His full, open, holy, and generous hand.
At an auspicious time I will mention you, your wife, and your daughter at the resting place of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good in all matters you wrote about in your letter. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news regarding the content of your letter.
As we enter the new year that has come upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and all yours—a blessing for sealing and final sealing for a good and sweet year both materially and spiritually together; especially success in your communal and personal matters.
And particularly tranquility and settlement in the ancient and eternal Jerusalem, may it be rebuilt soon.
