I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 6th of Kislev with the attached report. In accordance with your letter, I will mention you at the Tziyun that you should succeed greatly in your lofty endeavor and that livelihood should be plentiful among our brethren. May the matter of Gemilas Chasadim be in a manner of "Gemilas Chasadim for the wealthy," and may all those involved increase their strength in all their good activities, which will also bring blessing to all their affairs. This is like the conclusion and seal of this month—since everything follows the conclusion—which are the days of Chanukah, when the halachah follows Beis Hillel: we increase and go higher with the candle and light day by day—Ner Mitzvah v'Torah Or (a mitzvah is a lamp and Torah is light).
