מקום לנתינת תודה על קיום מצוה, ובפרט מצוה גדולה כהאמורה, הנוגעת בעצוב דמותם של נוער בני עמנו, בכל זה ארשה לעצמי להביע גודל הנחת רוח מפעולות מר בשטח האמור עד עתה, ופעולותיו בעתיד שבודאי יהיו באופן דמוסיף והולך, וזכות הרבים מסייעתו.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי למר ולכל אשר לו ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה.

I have heard much about your activities in general, and especially regarding your efforts to draw the hearts of Jewish youth closer to our Father in Heaven. If everywhere such activities are of the greatest importance, how much more so is this true in the Holy Land, about which it is always said: "Einei Hashem Elokecha bah meireishit hashanah ve'ad acharit shanah" ("The eyes of the L‑rd your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year until the end of the year"), and especially when it concerns the youth who are the future of our entire people. Surely for you there is no need to elaborate on this.
Through your initiative, as Mr. Avraham Tobias writes to me, two issues of journals were sent to me and I have just now received them; attached is a copy of my letter to Mr. Tobias, the editor and sender. Since I am confident that we share the same opinion as expressed in my letter, I am sure you will do your part to assist Mr. Tobias in this important work.
Although it would seem there is no place for expressing thanks for fulfilling a mitzvah—especially such a great mitzvah as this one that shapes the character of our people's youth—nevertheless I allow myself to express my great satisfaction with your activities in this area until now, and with your future activities which will surely continue to increase; may the merit of the many help you.
As we approach the new year that is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby extend my blessing to you and all yours: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year.
