הגיעה אלי ידיעה משמחת שזכתה ונשתמרו ברשותה ספרי כתבים ("ביכלעך") של מאמרי חסידות שנאמרו בשעתם מכ"ק רבותינו נשיאינו ונעתקו על ידי שומעים ומעתיקים.
והנה על פי רוב נמצאים ביכלעך אלו בכמה העתקות, ורובם ככולם היו באוסף הביכלעך ואוצר הספרים בבית הרב, אלא שבשנות המהומות והמלחמות נאבדו ונתפזרו כמה מהם. ומובן אשר כדי לברר וללבן הנוסח והלשון ככל האפשר, ובפרט כדי להכינם ולהביאם לדפוס, יש צורך בהשוואת כל הנוסחאות וכל מי שיש לו ביכל או ביכלעך לזכות גדול יחשב לו לשלוח לכאן, שהרי זהו תקונם ותכליתם של הביכלעך חסידות - הפצת מעיינות החסידות, תורת רבינו הבעל שם טוב זי"ע.
וגודל הזכות שבזה, זכות הפצת המעיינות וזכות הרבים הלומדים ספרי תורת החסידות הנדפסים על ידינו, אין די באר, ובודאי גם למותר לכמותה בידעי משפחתה וגזע צור מחצבתה.
ומגלגלין זכות על ידי זכאי ולימים זכאים, שנמצא עתה באה"ק ת"ו על ביקור קצר הרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"מ עוסק בצ"צ בעל מרץ ורב פעלים הרב ר' משה פנחס הכהן שי' כץ , שיש לו יפוי-כוח להיות שליח לקבלה, ובודאי תרצה בחפץ לב למסור לידו הביכלעך כדי להביאם עוד קודם ראש השנה הבע"ל בימי הרצון להרבות זכותה לקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה.

I have received joyful news that you have merited to retain in your possession manuscripts ("bichlach") of Chassidic discourses delivered at their time by our holy Rebbeim, which were transcribed by listeners and copyists. Usually, these bichlach exist in several copies, and most were part of the collection of manuscripts and books in the Rebbe's house. However, during years of turmoil and war, some were lost and scattered.
It is understood that to clarify and refine the text and language as much as possible—especially to prepare them for printing—it is necessary to compare all versions. Anyone who has a bichl or bichlach earns great merit by sending them here, for this is their rectification and purpose: spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus, the teachings of our master the Baal Shem Tov, may his merit protect us.
The greatness of this merit—the merit of spreading the wellsprings and the many who study printed Chassidic works through us—cannot be adequately described. Surely this is also well known to you from your family's heritage. Merit is brought about through those who are worthy and at auspicious times.
Currently in Eretz HaKodesh on a short visit is Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"m active in tzt"z with energy and many accomplishments Rabbi Moshe Pinchas HaKohen Katz, who has power-of-attorney to act as an agent for receiving them. Surely you will gladly give him the bichlach so they can be brought before Rosh Hashanah during these days of favor, increasing your merit as we approach the new year for good and blessing upon us and all Israel.
