In response to your question about not understanding what recently happened in your family etc.: As has already been discussed on several occasions, it is truly no wonder if a person does not understand the conduct of Hashem Yisbarach. On the contrary—it would be a wonder, and a great one at that, if one did understand! The well-known analogy applies: that a child still in kindergarten should grasp and comprehend the reasons behind the laws by which a country is governed and the judgments issued by its highest court (tribunal), etc. Even if the child were a prodigy, such a thing has never happened in history—even though today's leaders and highest judges were themselves once children in kindergarten. In time, the child may reach and surpass today's adults in knowledge and practice. How much more so when speaking of a human being versus Hashem Yisbarach—that one's intellect should be capable of grasping and comprehending the conduct of the Supreme Court over everything and everyone—the Creator of the world.

Hopefully there is no need to add further to what was written above. There are only certain things that Hashem Yisbarach wanted to reveal and arranged so that even human intellect can comprehend His conduct.

Additionally: The more one relies on pure faith and trust in Hashem Yisbarach, the more one sees and understands with intellect the happenings in the world generally and in one's individual life specifically.

And may Hashem Yisbarach bless you with all you need—and among the main things: true menuchas hanefesh (inner tranquility and harmony), so that your life will be arranged as is best for you in every respect—even to visible and apparent good (goodness that is tangible and understandable even to human intellect).

The daily conduct according to our holy Torah—which is called Toras Chaim, a living Torah that shows how to live—is itself the way and vessel for receiving blessings from Hashem Yisbarach.

The Rebbe teaches that not understanding G‑d's ways is natural; true faith means trusting even when we cannot comprehend. By relying on emunah and following Torah guidance, one finds inner peace and becomes receptive to G‑d's blessings.
