ואם בנוגע לעובר חנות של בשם נאמר שריחו קולט עאכו"כ בביקור שלא בדרך מעבר ובארץ עלי' נאמר, עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה, שהאפשרית ניתנה לקליטת ריח וגם בפנימית, ענינים שהנשמה נהנית מהם וגם הגוף נהנה מהם, שהרי גם גוף איש הישראלי קדוש הוא ובקדושת הגוף,
וכנאמר ג"כ בדברי רבנו הזקן, ובנו בחרת מכל עם ולשון הוא הגוף וכו' (תניא פרק מ"ט יעו"ש היטב).

Following our conversation, I repeat my blessing that your journey with your esteemed wife to visit Eretz HaKodesh through Mashiach Tzidkeinu should be at an auspicious and successful time.
If regarding one who merely passes by a store it is said that its scent is absorbed, how much more so regarding a visit not in passing and in the Land about which it is said: 'The eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year to year's end,' that there is an opportunity to absorb its scent even internally—matters from which the soul derives pleasure and even the body benefits. For even the body of a Jew is holy and possesses bodily sanctity, as stated also in the words of our Rebbe (the Alter Rebbe), 'And You have chosen us from all nations and tongues'—this refers to the body, etc. (see Tanya chapter 49 for further study).
