Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letter from the 21st of Teves, in which you write about the timing for erecting the monument.

Certainly, this is not a matter over which one should enter into a dispute, G‑d forbid—a prohibition that is clearly stated in the Torah—especially since, as you wrote, the entire family (by themselves) is of one opinion to wait until a year has passed and will not oppose this.

As per your request, the letter is being sent without waiting for its turn.

With blessings for good news and in good matters, with tranquility and gladness of heart.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that maintaining peace and unity takes precedence over disputes regarding customs such as when to erect a monument. When there is family agreement to wait, it is best to avoid conflict and proceed together harmoniously.
