מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו,
ובעמדנו בין גאולה לגאולה ומסמך גאולה לגאולה,
אשר אף שכמבואר במ"א חלוקים בענינם, הצד השוה בהן,
אשר שתיהם - גאולה נראית ונגלית גם לעיני בשר, ולא עוד אלא שבאה בהסכמו מלא של הלעו"ז, שהי' מעלים ומסתיר ומנגד לפני הגאולה,
וכדברי דוד המלך בפסוק הגאולה: פדה בשלום גו' כי ברבים היו עמדי,
יהי רצון שיהי' כן בכל הענינים אודותם כותב, וכאמור אשר גם מה שהי' מעלים ומסתיר עד עתה, יהפך למסייע וגואל,
ויבשר טוב בטוב הנראה והנגלה בשמחה ובטוב לבב.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letters. As we stand between redemption and redemption and connect one redemption to another—even though, as explained elsewhere, they differ in their nature—the common factor is that both are redemptions that are visible and revealed even to the physical eye. Moreover, they come with the full consent of the opposing forces of the world (le'umat zeh), which previously concealed and opposed before the redemption. As King David says in the verse about redemption: 'Padah v'Shalom...' ('He redeemed my soul in peace...') because many were with me.
May it be G‑d's will that this should be so in all matters about which you write. As mentioned, even what until now concealed and hid will turn into a helper and redeemer. May you share good news—good that is visible and revealed—with joy and gladness of heart.
