In response to your letter from the day after Yom Kippur in the name of Hashem: see tzt"z Responsa, Shaar HaMiluim, beginning of the second section, regarding how the times have changed, etc., and this is sufficient for the understanding. Continue to increase diligence and perseverance in the study of both the revealed Torah and Chassidus, as is understood and also obvious—do so with joy and a good heart.
It is proper that every weekday before morning prayers you set aside a few coins for charity. We are assured: "You have toiled and you have found."
With blessing for good news in the name of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita.
