נעם לי לקבל מכתבן מערב חג הסוכות זמן שמחתנו מבשר טוב מפעולותיהן בקדש הפצת היהדות ועניני' בין נשי ובנות ישראל, ועל דבר החלטות הטובות בהנוגע לעתיד.
וידועים דברי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בנוגע לצדקה גשמיות, ומזה מובן גם כן בנוגע לצדקה רוחנית, אשר כשמחליטים לתת צדקה ולעזור לרעהו בהרחבה, אף שלכאורה אינו לפי האמצעים שישנם במזומן, הנה באותה שעה מייצרים מלמעלה מקור וצנור חדשים להמציא כל הענינים הדרושים למלאות החלטה הטובה.
ויהי רצון שגם הן בעבודתן תתנהגנה מתאים להאמור ז. א. להחליט לעבוד לא רק כפי האפשרי בהווה, אלא בהוספה על זה ובודאי יקויימו דברי צדיק דורנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שתנתן להן היכולת המלאה להביא החלטתן בפועל.
וכנהוג בתוככי חסידים ובפרט בחסידי חב"ד לעשות בכל האמור מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב שמחה אמיתית.
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתן בקדש ולבשו"ט.

I was pleased to receive your letter from before Sukkot, the season of our rejoicing, bringing good news about your sacred activities in spreading Judaism and its matters among Jewish women and girls, as well as regarding your good resolutions for the future.
The words of the Rebbe Rayatz regarding material charity are well known; from this it is also understood regarding spiritual charity: when one decides to give charity and help another generously—even if it seems beyond one's current means—at that very moment, new sources and channels are created from Above to provide everything needed to fulfill this good resolution.
May it be G‑d's will that you also conduct yourselves in your work according to what was said above—that is, to decide to work not only according to what is presently possible but even more than that. Surely the words of the righteous person of our generation—the Rebbe Rayatz—will be fulfilled: that you will be given full ability to bring your resolutions into action.
As is customary among chassidim—and especially among Chabad chassidim—to do all of the above with joy and gladness of heart—true joy.
With blessings for success in your sacred work and for good news always.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that when we resolve to give generously—both materially and spiritually—even beyond our apparent means, G‑d provides new channels for success. Our efforts should always be accompanied by genuine joy and gladness of heart.
