מאשרים קבלת מכתבו מלפני ר"ה, בו כותב ע"ד מצבו, ומחכים לבשו"ט ממנו, ובפרט ע"פ שמכירים את הרה"ג והרה"ח רב פעלים ובעל מדות כו' מו"ה שלמה שי' מתוסוף, אשר עובד מלאכתו באמונה ומשתדל ככל יכולתו לתועלת הרבים, ולתועלת היחידים, ואליו יפנה ויעשה כהוראתו.
בודאי יש לו במשך כל שבועות אלו- קביעות עתים בלימוד התורה בהתמדה ושקידה, ובפרט במצבו שכותב - זקוק להוספת ברכה בהנוגע לבריאותו להסתדרות, והובטחנו אם בחוקותי תלכו ופירשו רז"ל (בספרא) שתהיו עמלים בתורה וגו' ונתתי וגו' - ככל הברכות המנויות בפרשה.
בברכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור.

We acknowledge receipt of your letter from before Rosh HaShanah, in which you write about your situation. We await good news from you, especially since we know the esteemed Rav and Chassid, a man of great deeds and character traits, our teacher Shlomo Metusof, who works faithfully and strives to the best of his ability for the benefit of the community and individuals. You should turn to him and follow his guidance.
Certainly, throughout these weeks you have maintained fixed times for Torah study with diligence and perseverance. Especially in your situation as you describe—where an increase in blessing is needed regarding your health and well-being—it is assured to us: "Im Bechukosai Teileichu" (If you walk in My statutes), which our Sages explain (in Sifra) as laboring in Torah study, "and I will give..."—all the blessings enumerated in the portion.
Blessings for good news in all the above.
