במענה על מכתב מיום ההילולא עם הפ"נ המוסגר בו שיקראו עת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקלל"ה נבג"מ זי"ע,
ומ"ש אודות אחותו... שתליט"א, צריך הי' להרבות עלי' ריעות וידידות שלה שישפיעו עלי' שבהצעת נכבדות תביט על העיקר ובמילא תבחין ותחליט שהטפל דטפל אינו תופס מקום. והרי אין שלם אלא אחד הוא השי"ת, משא"כ הנבראים, ובטח ימצא אותיות המתאימות איך להסביר את כל זה.
אינו מפרט סדרי לימודו היומי, אבל רוצה אני לקוות שיש לו קביעות נפש, נוסף על קביעות הנכונה בזמן, בלימוד תורת החסיודת נשמתא דאורייתא, ותלמוד זה מביא לידי מעשה, הליכה בהדרכותי' ומנהגי', ויה"ר שגם בזה יבשר טובות.

In response to your letter from the day of the yahrzeit with the enclosed pan requesting that an auspicious time be sought at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, and regarding what you wrote about your sister... may she live and be well, it was necessary to increase her circle of friends and close acquaintances who will influence her so that when considering important proposals she will focus on what is essential. Consequently, she will recognize and decide that what is secondary truly does not matter. For only One is complete—He is the Holy One, blessed be He—whereas created beings are not; surely you will find suitable words to explain all this.
You did not specify your daily study schedule, but I would like to hope that you have a steadfast commitment—beyond just a proper fixed time—to the study of Chassidus, the soul of Torah. This study leads to action: following its guidance and customs. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news in this as well.
