Shalom u'Vrachah!

Regarding his publication in the debate about what was printed in Talpiyot: he has done even more than that, and I only just learned of it upon receiving the "Haggadah..." I was shocked to read in it that he actually proposes drinking a fifth cup and also writes about the conduct regarding this. Especially as he says one must give thanks for the miracle of the beginning of redemption, etc., etc.—this is contrary to the ruling of Shulchan Aruch and later authorities, teachers of Israel and decisors accepted by all Israel.

The seriousness of this matter is clear compared to the above, since a Haggadah is a book accessible to all and its guidance affects practical action. Particularly when it is vocalized—it reaches even those unlearned who do not realize they are unlearned, and will certainly draw conclusions by analogy—that if it is permitted to act against Shulchan Aruch in this matter even though he never saw such conduct from his father or grandfather, then all the more so it is possible to act against Shulchan Aruch in other matters. Further elaboration is unnecessary.
