I am pleased to hear from you from time to time, and about your work for matters of Torah and mitzvos in general, and for the Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim in Montreal in particular. It is well known the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, in the name of his father: "The Holy One, blessed be He, does not remain a debtor." Those who strive and invest themselves in Jewish children—who are all considered by the Holy One, blessed be He, as His only child—giving them vitality both materially and spiritually by providing them opportunities to learn the Torah of Hashem, Hashem grants them additional vitality, very simply in good health and success in all their affairs, both general and specific. And it is fulfilled for them what the Alter Rebbe said—as we have often heard from my father-in-law, the Rebbe—that Hashem gives Jews materiality and they make from materiality spirituality.

May Hashem help you with long days and good years, good in every way, so you can continue your work—and even more so—for the Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim in Montreal in particular and for raising up the pride of Israel in general.
