בטח שמע מהעבודה הרוחניות הגדולה המתנהלת ע"י מחנה ישראל, אשר יסד חותני כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א, ואשר דובר עלי' ארוכות וקצרות בהקריאה והקדושה.
אחד מעני[ני] עבודת הקודש של מחנה ישראל הוא יסוד חברות תהלים בבתי הכנסת, וחיזוק החברות-תהלים הקיימות כבר, אשר ראש לכל חברות-תהלים היא חברת תהלים העולמית שנוסדר בירושלים בהתעוררות כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א, הנושאת רנה ותפלה בעד כל חברות-תהלים שבעולם וחבריהן שי'.
וקודם שהננו נגשים בתעמולה להפיץ הרעיון הנשגב הזה ולעורר בתי הכנסיות בשיקאגא לייסד חברות תהלים, ואשר לתכלית זו מתעתדים אנו גם להכניס מודעה בעתונם, מן הצורך אשר אחב"י יושבי שיקאגא יקבלו מושג כללי מעבודת מחנה ישראל.
לזאת הנני בא בבקשה גדולה לידידי שי' אשר יואיל נא להשתדל כי המאמר שהופיע בהמארגען זשורנאל (שהנני מסגיר פה) יופיע גם בהקוריער בהקדם.
בידעי חבתו ומסירותו לכל הקדוש לנו, ומאידך גיסא השפעתו הרבה במערכת של ה"קוריער" הנני מלא תקוה כי יצליח בעזהשי"ת בהשתדלות זו, ויהי' ממזכי הרבים, ותבוא עליו ברכה.
השעה דחוקה באשר הננו אומרים לשלוח רשימת כל החברות תהלים לירושלים ת"ו עוד על הושענה-רבא, ובטח יזדרז בזה, ותודתנו אמורה לו מראש.

Surely you have heard about the great spiritual work being conducted by Machane Yisrael, which was founded by my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, and which has been discussed at length in the Kri'ah V'Kedushah publication.
One of the holy activities of Machane Yisrael is establishing Tehillim societies in synagogues and strengthening those that already exist. Foremost among all Tehillim societies is the World Tehillim Society established in Jerusalem through the inspiration of the Rebbe shlita, which offers song and prayer on behalf of all Tehillim societies worldwide and their members.
Before we begin a campaign to spread this lofty idea and encourage synagogues in Chicago to establish Tehillim societies—and for this purpose we also intend to place an announcement in their newspaper—it is necessary for our Jewish brethren living in Chicago to gain a general understanding of Machane Yisrael's work.
Therefore, I make a great request of my dear friend that he kindly endeavor for the article that appeared in Der Morgen Zhurnal (which I enclose here) to also appear in The Courier as soon as possible.
Knowing your affection and dedication to all that is sacred to us, and on the other hand your great influence within The Courier's editorial staff, I am full of hope that you will succeed with G‑d's help in this effort, becoming one who brings merit to the many, and blessing will come upon you.
The matter is urgent since we plan to send a list of all Tehillim societies to Jerusalem before Hoshana Rabbah. Surely you will act quickly on this, and our thanks are extended in advance.
