...Regarding your question about the students of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim who participate in activities of A.T.H. and similar organizations... It is surprising that there is any doubt or question about what was clearly stated by the founders and directors of Tomchei Temimim—our master the Rebbe (the Rashab) and his son, my revered father-in-law the Rebbe—may their memory be a blessing for life in the World to Come, whose words were clear and written: that all matters concerning the students are under the authority of the yeshiva administration, and only according to their directives should everything be conducted—from spiritual matters to physical ones. Only this is the way to become a source of influence: first being a proper recipient, as is known from sacred talks on this subject.

May it be G‑d's will that all branches of Tomchei Temimim everywhere will finally develop according to the wishes and hopes of our Rebbeim, for since it is their will, it must come to fruition; but how much better if it happens sooner and with joy and gladness of heart. May the wellsprings spread within them and from them until they reach even the most distant outside places, bringing good news—like Pinchas did—to draw those who are distant closer. And immediately following this—the true and complete redemption through our righteous Moshiach, Moshiach ben David, as it is written: 'A star shall go forth from Yaakov and a scepter shall arise from Israel' (and Israel will triumph).
