לאחרי הפסק נתקבל מכתבו מט"ז אייר, ומובנת התמי' על כתבו אודות חלישות וכו' וביחוד בזמן דספירת העומר שענינה קובץ על יד יום על יום (וכידוע הדיוק שאין אומרים יום שני כי אם שני ימים, כי גם יום הראשון בתמימותו צ"ל) והרי ככל המצות גם למצוה זו ענינה להמשיך מתוכנה על כל השנה כולה וק"ל. וכיון שאין הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו, בודאי שבכח האדם הוא וביכולתו.
לפלא ומצער, אף שדרכו הוא שאין מזכיר מפעולתו בעניני שידוך והרי גם בזה ציווי מוחלט בתורתנו תורת חיים ולא עוד אלא שנקודה נוספת גם על הנ"ל שזוה מצוה שא"א לעשותה ע"י אחרים.
ויהי רצון שבעמדנו בראש חדש השלישי, והתחלת מתן תורה (עיין תו"א ד"ה בחדש השלישי ובהוספות לתו"א שם) הנה יתוסף בסייעתא דשמיא בהנ"ל ובהענינים אודותם כותב במכתבו שצריך לס"ד ותיכף ינצל הסיוע גם לענין השידוך וסו"ס יבוא לידי פועל ולידי גמר בשעה טובה ומוצלחת.
בברכה לבשו"ט ובלשון הרב הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, לקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
After a pause, your letter from the 16th of Iyar was received. It is understandable to wonder about what you wrote regarding weakness, especially during the time of Sefiras HaOmer whose theme is gathering little by little day by day (and as is known, the precision that we do not say "the second day" but rather "two days," since even the first day must be complete). And like all mitzvos, this mitzvah's purpose is to draw its content into the entire year—and this is clear.
And since the Holy One Blessed Be He does not come with unreasonable demands upon His creations, certainly a person has both the power and ability. It is surprising and saddening—even though your way is not to mention your actions regarding shidduchim—since even in this there is an absolute command in our Torah of life. Moreover, there is an additional point: this mitzvah cannot be fulfilled by others on one's behalf.
May it be G‑d's will that as we stand at the beginning of the third month and at the start of Matan Torah (see Torah Ohr discourse "BaChodesh HaShlishi" and its supplements), there should be increased heavenly assistance in all the above and in those matters about which you write in your letter that you need help. Immediately use this assistance also regarding shidduchim so that finally it will come to fruition and completion at a good and auspicious time.
With blessing for good news—and in the words of my revered father-in-law, may you receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
