Shalom u'Vrachah!

It was with pleasure that I learned through Haraha"ch iy"a nu"n Rav Poalim Baal Meretz etc. Moshe Pinchas HaKohen that these days you are concluding your public study of Tractate Megillah. Certainly, following Jewish custom that Torah is endless, you will immediately begin another tractate, as established by our predecessors: "May it be Your will, L‑rd our G‑d, just as You helped me complete... so may You help me begin..."

This too can be explained as taught in Chassidus: a command in Torah also implies a promise for the future—like "that everyone should read it in its time," which means both a command and a promise (for none will be cast away). Similarly here: the request before You (which brings about) also becomes a promise from You—just as You helped me before, so too You will surely help me again.

Let all the above serve as the conclusion to this "May it be Your will," and its seal: "The L‑rd will bless His people with peace," the vessel that holds G‑d's blessing for all one's needs at home and beyond.

May it be His will that both the beginning and end of this tractate you are completing—Megillah—be fulfilled. Megillah is read on the 11th through the 15th; it is known this hints to the Divine Name: its end is 11 (vav-heh), its start is 15 (yud-heh). The total days of Megillah reading—11 to 15—is 65, matching the value of Adnai—the way we pronounce Hashem's Name when it is hidden; i.e., when G‑dliness is concealed within worldly garments. This is especially emphasized in Megillah where G‑d's Name appears only as an acronym or at word-ends.

Therefore we are commanded that Megillah must be read and publicized as a miracle. Likewise, through Torah study—which clarifies worldly matters and determines what is permitted, pure, and fit for fulfilling Hashem's will and mitzvos (not allowed even for sacred work)—through this action by a person's soul in this world we reveal the true content and purpose of every day of the year. Each day must fulfill its unique mission; especially through special learning instituted by Moshe for Israel: to inquire about each day's topic—in line with Rashi's explanation—to accept and uphold for themselves and their children now and forever.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that Torah study not only brings blessings but reveals hidden G‑dliness within daily life. Completing one tractate leads to new beginnings with assurance from Above; every day has its unique purpose illuminated through learning.
