ת"ח ת"ח על הבשורה טובה מסידור הענין דאחב"י מספרד, ויהי רצון שתהי' זו התחלה טובה לקירוב הלבבות באופן דהלוך הוסיף הלוך ואור עד לקיום היעוד, ועשיתי אותם לגוי אחד וגו' ועבדי דוד מלך עליהם, בביאת משיח צדקנו בב"א.
ומענין לענין באותו ענין, ע"ד הנחיצות דהתועדות די"ט כסלו הבע"ל וניצולה, וכן הימים שלפני זה ושלאחרי זה להפצת המעינות, וכבר כתבתי בזה גם לועד הכפר, וכיון שנגע בזה במכתבו הוא, וכן בהנוגע ומוכרח להעשות בזה מצד צעירי אגו"ח הנני חוזר על הנקודה, שהכרח הנ"ל וכן בימים שלפני זה ובימי חנוכה שלאחרי זה, ובמילא יש זמן להקיף מספר רב של מושבות בנ"י, ולנחיצות הדבר כתבתי להועד שאעורר המגבית המיוחדת להשתתף בזה בחצי ההוצאות שבהתועדות דכפר חב"ד, ועד"ז בחצי ההוצאות דצעירי אגו"ח במבצע האמור, שמבצע הפצת המעינות בקשר שנת המאתים, ובשנה זו גופא בר"ה לדא"ח אשר הנחילנו אבותינו הקדושים זצוקללה"ה זי"ע והיא תורת הבעש"ט ז"ל (כלשון אגרת הקדש של אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע, עיי"ש).
ויהי רצון אשר כנ"ל עי"ז יתקרב הענין דפדה בשלום נפשנו, כמבואר שם, ומגאולה פרטית לגאולה הכללית, כמבואר באגה"ק לרבנו הזקן, שהתחלתה אין ישראל נגאלין אלא בצדקה, וסיומה, יאר ה' פניו אתנו סלה אכי"ר.

In response to your letter from the 22nd of Marcheshvan, and those before it. Thank you very much for the good news about arranging matters for our brethren from Spain. May it be G‑d's will that this be a good beginning for bringing hearts closer together in a manner of continual increase in light until the fulfillment of the prophecy: "And I will make them one nation... and My servant David will be king over them," with the coming of our righteous Moshiach speedily in our days.
And from one matter to another in the same vein: regarding the necessity of a farbrengen on Yud Tes Kislev that is approaching and its successful outcome, as well as the days before and after it for spreading the wellsprings. I have already written about this also to the village committee. Since you mentioned this in your letter, as well as regarding what must be done by Tzeirei Agudas Chabad, I am reiterating the point: that this necessity applies also to the days before and during Chanukah that follow. Therefore there is time to reach a large number of Jewish settlements. To emphasize its importance, I wrote to the committee that I will encourage a special fundraising campaign to participate in half the expenses for the farbrengen at Kfar Chabad; similarly, half of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad's expenses for this campaign—the campaign to spread the wellsprings in connection with the two-hundredth year—and even within this year itself on Rosh Hashanah for Chassidus which our holy ancestors bequeathed us (as stated in Iggeres HaKodesh by Admor Maharashab; see there).
May it be G‑d's will that through all this, as above, we draw closer to "Padeh v'Shalom Nafsheinu" (He redeemed my soul in peace), as explained there—and from personal redemption to general redemption—as explained in Iggeres HaKodesh by Rabbeinu HaZaken: its beginning is "Israel is redeemed only through tzedakah," and its conclusion is "May Hashem shine His face upon us forever," may it be so speedily.
