Harav v'chassid iy"a nu"n Rav Pe'alim HaRaL Eliezer Lipa Lavi
Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 5th of Tishrei; likewise, your letter and regards were received via the traveler from there to here—many thanks.
May it be G‑d's will that each one of us merits to successfully accomplish all matters in the manner of the mitzvah of the Four Species, which are general mitzvos [like other matters of this general month that is endowed with all good], except that their drawing down into this world is through first drawing them into a person's heart (which is why we bring the Four Species to the heart), as it is written: "Et HaOlam Natan Bilibam" (He placed the world in their hearts)—of a person. Through this, an abundance of blessing and success will be drawn for the entire year in all matters—both materially and spiritually together.
With blessings for a joyous festival—Zman Simchateinu approaching—and for good news.
P.S. Regarding your question about my letter concerning your book "Otzar Maamarim al HaTorah": The directive of Admor HaTzemach Tzedek is known, in the style of our Sages: "Anan pa'ala d'yoma anan—to make day (light, as it says: 'And G‑d called the light Day') in the world." If you think that by including my letter it will increase arousal in fear of Heaven for His Torah and mitzvos, then you are permitted to include it in your book's second volume.
Regarding what you wrote about speech (dibur) and saying (amira)—they differ: A) From the perspective of the speaker—amira is quiet speech; dibur is open and declared speech (see Zohar III 132b; Likkutei Torah by Rabbeinu HaZaken Chukat 57c; etc.). B) From the perspective of the listener—amira is when one receives easily and gently; dibur is harsh (Makkot 11a; Likkutei Torah by Arizal at Parshat Haazinu as you referenced in your letter, etc.). And what you wrote in Zohar II 79b (and see also Mechilta there cited by Rashi)—this is explained by Or HaChamah there.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that spiritual influence begins with heartfelt intention, using the Four Species as a model for drawing down blessing into all aspects of life. He encourages sharing Torah insights when they inspire greater awe of Heaven and clarifies nuanced differences between "speech" and "saying" in Torah study.
