לביא - אליעזר ליפא

Eliezer Lipa Levai — Scholar and publisher

This summary is drawn from the Rebbe's letters to him (about 5719–5720, 1959–1960); I did not find a published biography.

What the letters show

Publishing. The Rebbe thanked him for his efforts in spreading Torah through publishing (IK 6801), and encouraged scholarly initiatives while explaining that existing publishing commitments limited what could be taken on (IK 7358).

Teachings. Every commandment is also a promise from G-d that He will empower us to fulfill it (IK 6990); spiritual influence begins with heartfelt intention, as illustrated by the Four Species (IK 7043); and challenges can be transformed into light and joy through faith (IK 6731).
