לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מאדר"ח אלול הוא חדש הרחמים, בו כותב מההכנות להתחלת זמן הלימודים ואצפה שיבשר טוב מההתחלה בפועל, ובאופן שגם ההתחלה תהי' באופן דופרצת וגו', וכידוע הוראת רבותינו נשיאינו ועד לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר (שבכמה פרטים ועד לקלסתר פנים הי' בדוגמת אדמו"ר מוהר"ש בעל הפתגם): די וועלט זאגט אז מען קען ניט ארונטער דארפמען אריבער, און איך זאג אז מ'דארף לכתחלה אריבער, ויהי' באופן כזה במשך כל השנה בעניני בית הספר וכל השייך לו בתוככי כללות עניני הרשת וכללות עניני חב"ד אשר באה"ק ת"ו, ובודאי שיהי' זה צנור וכלים נוספים להצלחה בענינים הכללים והצלחה גם בענינים הפרטים, ובטח גם זוג' תחי' תבוא בכתובים בהנוגע לעניני' היא הן בענינים הכללים והן בענינים הפרטים, ויהי' זה מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב ובריאות הנכונה דוקא.

After the longest break, your letter was received from Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul, the month of mercy, in which you write about preparations for the start of the school term. I look forward to hearing good news about the actual beginning, and that even the start will be in a manner of 'ufaratzta' (and you shall spread out), as is known from the instruction of our Rebbeim up to my father-in-law the Rebbe (who in several details and even in facial features resembled the Rebbe Maharash, author of the saying): The world says that if you can't go under or over an obstacle, you must go around it; but I say you must go over it leketachila ariber (from the outset). May this be so throughout the year in all matters of the school and everything connected to it within all matters of the network and all matters of Chabad in Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land), may it serve as a channel and additional vessels for success in general matters and also success in personal matters. Certainly your wife will also be mentioned regarding her affairs—both general and personal—and may this be with joy, gladness of heart, and proper health specifically.
