אין ענטפער אויף אייער בריף פון יום ה', אין וועלכען איר שרייבט וועגען דער סברא צו פארען אויף דער חתונה פון אייער זון שי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת.
ולכאורה איז ניט פארשטענדליך: מאכען אזא נסיעה וועלכע איז פארבונדן מיט אזוינע געלט-הוצאות (אלס צוגאב אויך די צייט), וואס אויב אפילו מ'האט די געלט במזומן, איז לויט דעם מצב פון חתן וכלה, קען מען פארניצען די געלט אויף זייער איינארדענען זיך, וואס זיכער קען זיי צוניץ קומען אפילו גרעסערע סומעס.
און השם יתברך זאל העלפען, איר זאלט באשליסען ווי ס'איז גוט באמת. ולאריכות ימים ושנים טובות זאלט איר האבען אמת'ן אידישען נחת, און חסידות'שן נחת פון אלע אייערע קינדער שיחיו.

In response to your letter from Thursday, in which you write about the idea of traveling for your son's wedding—may it be at a good and successful time. Seemingly, it is not understood: to make such a trip, which is connected with such financial expenses (in addition, also the time), even if one has the money available, according to the situation of the groom and bride, this money could be used for their establishing themselves, which certainly could benefit them even in larger amounts.
And may Hashem Yisbarach help that you decide what is truly good. And may you have long and good years, and true Jewish nachas and chassidic nachas from all your children.
