המזכירות שלי מסרו לי תוכן מכתבו ועסקנותו בעניני טהרת המשפחה במחנם הט' וכן שגזעו ממשפחה המפו;63637#&ארה, רייך מווארשא, וזקנו הי' אחיו של הרה"ח כו' משולם רייך ע"ה.
ויהי רצון אשר צור מחצבתו יוסיף בו חיות והתלהבות אשר בנפש פנימה של כל אחד ואחד [מ]ישראל באופן שיפעלו פעולתם בעניני יהדות תורה ומצות בכלל ובהפצתם בהסביבה בכל מקום שידו מגעת ביחוד, שהרי בתקופתנו חובתו הק' של כל אחד ואחד להפיץ תורה ומצות בכל הסביבה, באופן המביא לידי מעשה בפועל, והרי זה כל האדם (וכמ"ש) את האלקים ירא ואת מצותיו שמור, והובטחנו מחז"ל יגעת ומצאת, ובפרט שנמצא במקום אשר ע"פ השמועה, לע"ע לא רבים שם יראי ה' והחרדים לדבר ה', שזה מגדיל ערכו של כאו"א, ובודאי שהקב"ה בורא עולם ומנהיגו, נותן היכולת והאפשריות למלאות תפקיד הגדול הזה.
מאחר שגזעו ממשפחת חסידים ומחותן דמשפחות רבותינו נשיאינו תקותי שיש לו קביעות עתים בלימוד תורת החסידות נוסף על הקביעות עתים בלימוד תורת הנגלה.

My secretariat conveyed to me the content of your letter and your involvement in matters of family purity in your camp. They also informed me that you descend from the Arha Reich family of Warsaw, and that your grandfather was the brother of the chassidic Reb Meshulam Reich a"h.
May it be G‑d's will that the source from which you come will add vitality and enthusiasm—rooted deep within every Jew—so that each person will act in matters of Judaism, Torah, and mitzvos in general, and especially spread them throughout their environment wherever their influence reaches. In our times it is a sacred duty for everyone to spread Torah and mitzvos everywhere possible in a way that leads to practical action; this is the essence of man (as it is written): "Es haElokim yira v'es mitzvosav shmor" (Fear G‑d and keep His commandments), and our Sages assured us: "Yagata u'matzasa" (If you toil you will find). Especially since you are in a place where, according to reports, there are not many who fear G‑d or are meticulous about His word at present—this increases the value of each individual. Surely the Holy One Blessed Be He, Creator and Ruler of the world, grants the ability and opportunity to fulfill this great mission.
Since you descend from a family of chassidim and are related by marriage to the families of our Rebbeim, I hope you have set times for studying Chassidus in addition to fixed times for studying revealed Torah.
With blessings for good news in all mentioned above, and regards to all your colleagues involved in strengthening the pillar of purity in your camp. One mitzvah brings another mitzvah in all matters of our holy Torah's commandments.
