...Regarding what you wrote about the illustrations you discussed with him—illustrations relating to the laws of Shulchan Aruch—it would be appropriate to obtain the book by Rabbi David Feldman of blessed memory (he is the author of the abridged and illustrated Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, which contains only a few illustrations, but he has a special book dedicated to this). As with all human endeavors, there is always room for improvement and even correction or addition; nevertheless, after reviewing his books, you will surely learn many things from them. It is also possible that some of his illustrations may be useful to you. As far as I recall, it was printed only once decades ago in England, so copyright should not be an issue...
