Shalom u'Vrachah!
It is understood that shidduch and marriage are not at all a matter of bringing an offering but rather for the purpose of building a Jewish home—an everlasting edifice in Israel.
Regarding the proposal you write about, you should present the matter to three of your friends who are in your location, and among them at least one rabbi, so that the matter will be known also according to halachah regarding chazakah.
I hope that since you conclude in your letter that you are a descendant of great Admorim of Poland and Galicia—and you name some of them who are connected to the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov, which is Chassidus—you certainly have set times for studying this Torah. It is known that the inner meaning of 'set times' is not only in terms of time but—more importantly—set times in one's soul. Even those who in previous generations claimed it was impossible to reveal and publicize this wisdom—many among them now recognize the necessity of this study. See Iggeres HaKodesh by Rabbeinu HaZaken (the Alter Rebbe), author of Tanya—the halachic authority in the hidden aspects of Torah—and Shulchan Aruch—the halachic authority in revealed Torah—section 26; also see Kuntres Etz Chaim by his great-grandson Admor Maharashab (of blessed memory), among others. It is also understood that regarding this as well applies the Torah's commandment: "Ma'alin bakodesh" (we ascend in holiness).
It is proper to have your tefillin checked and also, without making a vow, to maintain the three well-known daily study sessions: Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya.
Blessings for good news in all the above.
On behalf of: his wife. Since her family members are not knowledgeable.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that marriage aims to build an enduring Jewish home. He advises consulting trusted friends including a rabbi about shidduch matters, maintaining regular study of Chassidus with inner commitment, checking tefillin, and keeping daily Torah study routines.
