בעתו קבלתי מכתבו מב' תמוז, וז"ע נתקבל גם שני הספרים אודותם כותב, ות"ח.
ויהי רצון אשר תכה"י יגרמו כ"א מבנ"י איש לרעהו נח"ר ושביעת רצונם הטוב, ואין טוב אלא תורה ועניני' שהרי נקראת היא תורת חיים הוראה בחיים הכוללת ומקיפה את כל החיים לפרטיהם באופן ממצה, והרי מובן זה הדבר וגם פשוט, כיון שניתנה מבורא עולם גדול והאדם עולם קטן, והרי היוצר אדם והעולם הוא מבין הטוב בשבילם.
בטח יודע מחג הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר ראש ישראל, ובטח יתועד בתוככי אנ"ש ימים אלו, ויהי רצון שיהי' רישומה של ההתועדות ניכר בהנוגע לפועל ועד לחיי היום יומים.

I received your letter from the 2nd of Tammuz in due time, and likewise I received the two books you wrote about—thank you very much.
May it be G‑d's will that your correspondence will cause each member of Bnei Yisrael to bring satisfaction and good will to one another. There is no true good except Torah and its matters, for it is called a Torah of Life—a guidance for life that encompasses and includes all aspects of life in detail and comprehensively. This is clear and simple since it was given by the Creator of the world—the great world—and man is a small world. The One who formed man and the world understands what is truly good for them.
You surely know about the Festival of Redemption on the 12th and 13th of Tammuz—the redemption of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, head of Israel. Surely you will participate among Anash during these days, and may it be G‑d's will that the impression from this gathering will be evident in practical matters—even in daily life.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Torah is a complete guide for every aspect of life because it comes from the Creator who knows what is best for us. He encourages celebrating Yud-Beis–Yud-Gimmel Tammuz with others so its inspiration leads to positive action in daily living.
