ויהי רצון אשר השי"ת בורא עולם ומנהיגו ירחיב פרנסתו בגשמיות ובטח מצדו הוא ירחיב פרנסתו ברוחניות, זאת אומרת ההשתדלות בהחזקת היהדות והפצתה, ודבר משנתנו, כך היא דרכה של תורה וכו' וחיי צער תחי' כו' יקיים זה ע"י צער ברוחניות ז.א.
קיום ההוראה ונפשי כעפר לכל תהי', שמצטער מתוך היותו ענו ושפל וכמאמר המשנה מאר מאר הוה שפל רוח.
מהנכון אשר יבדוק את התפילין שלו ואת המזוזות בדירתו שתהיינה כולן כשרות כדין, וילמוד שיעור בפנימיות התורה ובפרט באותן הימים שעוסק במלאכת שמים כתיבת סת"ם.

In response to your letter and pidyon nefesh, in which you write about your holy work and that you live a life of hardship. May it be Hashem's will—the Creator and Guide of the world—that He broaden your material livelihood. And certainly on your part you will broaden your spiritual livelihood; that is, making efforts to strengthen and spread Judaism.
As our teaching says: "Such is the way of Torah... you shall live a life of hardship," this should be fulfilled through spiritual hardship—meaning fulfilling the instruction "Let my soul be as dust to all," feeling pain from being humble and lowly. As the Mishnah says: "Be exceedingly humble."
It is proper for you to check your tefillin and the mezuzot in your home to ensure they are all kosher according to halachah. Also, study a lesson in the inner dimension of Torah—especially during days when you are engaged in sacred work like writing Sifrei Torah, tefillin, or mezuzot.
