מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מיום ג' והקודם, בו מודיע אשר קבל הניירות שלו והכל עבר ב"ה בכי טוב.
ובודאי למותר להאריך ברמיזת הענין, כשרואים שהשי"ת מסיר טרדות ודאגות צריך להבין הרמז, אשר ביכולתו ובמילא גם מזכותו וחיובו להתעמק בלימוד תורתנו תורת חיים בהעמקה הדרושה ובלשון התניא התקשרות והתחברות שמקשר דעתו בקשר אמיץ וחזק מאוד ויתקע מחשבתו בחוזק וכו' ואינו מסיח דעתו כו' שזהו ג"כ הצנור והכלי להוספה בברכת השי"ת מכאן ולהבא הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות
ואם בכל אחד הדברים אמורים, עאכו"כ בזה שזכה ללמוד בישיבת תומכי תמימים, ובפרט שע"י הנהגה טובה בכל האמור ישפיע גם על הרבים חבריו שגם הם ינהגו באופן האמור שזכות הרבים מסייעתו ויהי רצון שבכל האמור יהי' באופן דמוסיף והולך ומעלין בקדש והשי"ת יצליחו.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from Tuesday and the previous one, in which you inform me that you received your papers and that everything went, with G‑d's help, very well. Certainly there is no need to elaborate on the hint in this matter: when one sees that the Holy One removes worries and concerns, one must understand the sign—that it is within his ability, and therefore also his merit and obligation, to deepen his study of our Torah, the Torah of Life, with the necessary depth. In the language of Tanya: connection and attachment—binding one's mind with a strong and powerful bond and fixing one's thought firmly, etc., without distraction. This is also the channel and vessel for increased blessing from G‑d from now on, both materially and spiritually. If these words apply to everyone, how much more so to someone who has merited to study in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim. Especially since through good conduct in all the above matters he will also influence many—his friends—to behave likewise; the merit of the many assists him. May it be G‑d's will that all this be in a manner of continual increase and elevation in holiness, and may G‑d grant him success.
