I am surprised that for quite some time I have not received any letters or updates from you regarding your activities in general and specifically concerning Nshei U'Bnos Chabad of Chicago—may they all live. Although I assume everything is proceeding properly and according to Torah—which means not remaining at the same level constantly but rather always growing, as our holy Torah instructs: "ma'alin bakodesh" (we ascend in holiness). Naturally, I have asked your husband the Rav shlita about this matter, but I only know general information—that the gatherings are taking place according to the established schedule, etc. Therefore, I hope that on the next occasion you will write me more details about this. May Hashem help that we should only be able to report good news. As mentioned, the Nshei U'Bnos Chabad group in Chicago is working with ever-increasing strength—and of course also good news in your personal matters.

And just as summer brings certain changes for everyone in their private routines—which indirectly affects their approach to work with Nshei U'Bnos Chabad (but this certainly does not mean that summer should be a quiet period in this work)—one must simply adapt the work to fit the summer circumstances and not reduce the number of gatherings; if anything, let them increase. "Ve'ein lecha davar ha'omed bifnei haratzon" (there is nothing that stands before willpower).

I hope that in your work as a teacher in education you also utilized Pesach time and the days of Sefirah with appropriate ideas and explanations for the students and will do so as well regarding Shavuos—Kabbalas HaTorah. Also, it would be worthwhile to prepare an interesting plan for the students during vacation time because unfortunately, in most cases vacation brings about issues of casting off discipline—which is often disguised under the cloak of 'vacation.'
