פון צייט צו צייט באקום איך גרוסען פון אייך און פון פאמיליע מיטגלידער אייערע שיחיו, און אויך וועגען עניני חב"ד בכלל, לעצטענס אבער שרייבען אנ"ש ווייניגער ווי פריער, ועל אחת כמה וכמה בערך דאס וואס מען וויל וויסען, און ווי עס איז באוואוסט דער ווארט וועלכען מיר האבען געהערט מערערע מאל פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקלה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אז חסידות האט אויפגעטאן אז יעדער חסיד וואו ער זאל זיך ניט געפינען און גיין, איז ער ניט עלענד, ווארום ער בלייבט שטענדיג פארבונדען מיט חסידים, איז אויב דאס איז אזוי אפילו איידער מען טרעפט זיך פערזענליך, אין דאך דאס איז א פיל שטארקערערע מאס נאך א פערזענליכע באפריינדונג.
און אזוי ווי מיר גייען דאך ענדע וואך פייערען דעם יום הבהיר י"ט כסלו, וואס אויף דעם האט רבנו הזקן געזאגט, פדה בשלום נפשי גו' כי ברבים היו עמדי בין איך זיכער, אז בא חסידים ואנ"ש בכל מקום שהם, וועט פארשטארקט ווערען דער געפיל און פארבונד פון איינעם מיט דעם צווייטען, ניט נאר אין פארשטאנד אליין נאר דאס וועט אויך בריינגען צו מעשים בפועל, ביז ווי דער אויסשפראך פון רבותנו נשיאנו, להשתתף בשמחת רעהו וכו', און איך האף צו באקומען פון אייך גוטע בשורות פון אייערע ענינים הפרטים און אויך פון די ענינים הכללים, און ספעציעל פון די מוסדות חינוך ישיבת אהלי יוסף יצחק און בית רבקה, וואס דאס גייט אריין אין דעם ענין פון הפצת המעינות חוצה, ויהי רצון אז די ידיעות און די בריף זאלען געשריבען ווערען מתוך בריאות הנכונה געזונטערהייט און פרייליכערהייט.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
From time to time I receive greetings from you and from your family members, may they live, as well as regarding general Chabad matters. Lately, however, Anash have been writing less than before—certainly less than what one would want to know. As is well known, we have heard many times from my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzukal nebagam zichrono tzaddik livracha, that Chassidus has accomplished that every chassid—wherever he may be—is never alone, for he always remains connected with other chassidim. If this is so even before meeting in person, how much more so after a personal friendship has been established.
As we are about to celebrate at the end of this week the bright day of Yud Tes Kislev—about which Rabbeinu HaZaken said: "Padah b'Shalom Nafshi... Ki b'Rabim Hayu Imadi" (He redeemed my soul in peace... for many were with me)—I am certain that among chassidim and Anash everywhere, the feeling and bond between one another will be strengthened. This will not only be in understanding but will also lead to practical actions—up to fulfilling the saying of our Rebbeim Nesi'im: to participate in a friend's joy, etc.
I hope to receive from you good news about your personal matters as well as general matters—and especially about the educational institutions Yeshivas Oholei Yosef Yitzchak and Beis Rivkah—which are included in spreading the wellsprings outward. May it be G‑d's will that these reports and letters be written in good health and happiness.
Greetings to all members of your household, each and every one of them, may they live. With blessings for the Festival of Redemption—our redemption and the redemption of our soul—which is the bright day of Yud Tes Kislev.
